COMSCI WIZARDS LORD OVER 2021 APC
Led by Grade 11 students, PSHS-BRC dominated the high school category of the 2021 Ateneo Programming Challenge (APC), Regional Inter-Collegiate Programming Competition on May 30, 2021.
John Eric Estrada, Clyde Lawrence Borrega, and John Angelo Oringo snatched the first, second, and third places, respectively.
Other BRC scholars who made it in the top 10 are Jose Enrique Ramirez (4th), William Cortez, Jr. (5th), David Berne Mojar (6th), Gerrymie Florel Bajaro (7th), Archie Junio (8th), Vina Vissia Saez (9th), and Joshua Andrew Placides (10th).
In the overall individual ranking Estrada placed second; Borrega, fourth; Oringo, fifth; and Ramirez, sixth.
Sir John Rainier Joaquin of the Computer Science Unit was the team’s coach.
The event was organized by the Ateneo de Naga University, College of Computer Studies with the main objective of giving college and high school students opportunities to sharpen and demonstrate their problem-solving and programming skills.
