Senior Students Win 2021 WIMO
Among the 135 delegates of the Philippines to the World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO), three BRC students won gold, silver, and bronze awards.
Richard Adrian Salazar (alumnus) snatched the gold award and fourth overall ranking in the senior secondary category of the Philippine team.
Meanwhile, Jose Carlo Salazar and John Angelo Oringo secured silver and bronze awards, respectively.
Jose Carlo also ranked 1st among the silver awardees in the senior secondary group of the PH team.
The winners were announced on February 13, 2022.
The WIMO examination topics include Logical Thinking, Arithmetic/Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry, and Combinatorics.
